Who is responsible for your data?
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is the operator identified in the Legal Notice on this website. The contact details stated there can also be used for privacy-related requests.
How and why we process personal data
We process personal data only where this is permitted by applicable data protection law. Depending on the purpose, processing is based on your consent, the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests.
Our legitimate interests include operating and securing this website, preventing misuse, responding to enquiries and protecting or enforcing legal claims. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
Where information is necessary to provide a requested service or perform a contract, we will explain this when we collect it. If you do not provide the required information, we may be unable to provide the relevant service.
Hosting and server logs
This website, including its email mailbox, is hosted by Lima-City on servers in Hamburg, Germany.
When you visit the website, the hosting server processes technical access data. This may include your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested page or file, browser and operating-system information, and technical information about the request.
Server logs are retained for seven days and then deleted, unless they need to be kept longer to investigate security incidents or comply with a legal obligation. We process these data to deliver the website securely and reliably and to detect and prevent attacks or misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website.
WordPress and website functionality
This website uses WordPress as its content management system. WordPress processes technical information as needed to display and administer the website and provide functions you request.
A customer account area is not currently available on this website. If this changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the relevant data processing.
Cookies and consent management
We use Complianz to manage and record your choices concerning cookies and similar technologies. Necessary technologies may be used where they are required to operate the website or provide a service you have requested.
Non-essential technologies, including analytics and advertising technologies, are used only after you have given the relevant consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the privacy or cookie settings on this website.
Google Analytics and Google Ads
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and Google Ads to measure advertising and campaign performance.
Depending on the service and settings, Google may process information such as pages visited, interactions, browser and device information, online identifiers and information about advertising or campaign interactions. These services may use cookies or similar technologies.
Google Analytics and Google Ads are activated only after the relevant consent has been given through our consent-management system. You can withdraw your consent through the privacy or cookie settings.
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Further information about recipients and international transfers is provided below.
Google Fonts and 3D product displays
The fonts used on this website are stored and delivered from our own server. Your browser does not connect to Google to retrieve these fonts.
This website uses Google’s model-viewer technology to display interactive 3D content. The 3D model files are stored locally on our server. When your browser requests the viewer library from Google, Google may receive technical connection data such as your IP address, browser information and the time of the request.
We do not embed YouTube videos or Google Maps on this website.
Contact form and email
Our contact form is custom-built. If you contact us, we process the information you provide, including your name, email address and message, to respond to your enquiry.
Messages are not stored in the WordPress database. They are sent to and stored in our email mailbox hosted by Lima-City. We retain them only as long as needed to handle the enquiry, unless a longer retention period is required to meet legal obligations or handle a legal claim.
For contract-related enquiries, processing is necessary to take steps before entering into or performing a contract. For other enquiries, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to messages.
Newsletter
You may choose to subscribe to our newsletter during the software installation process. If you subscribe, we process your email address to send you information about INSPIROR.Labs, our products, software and related updates.
Newsletter subscription data is stored in a database on our server. We also retain information needed to document your subscription and consent. We do not use your email address for the newsletter unless you have actively subscribed.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option in a newsletter or by contacting us using the details in our Legal Notice. After unsubscribing, we remove your address from the active mailing list unless limited retention is necessary to document your request or comply with a legal obligation.
Payments, orders and subscriptions
Payments for our products and subscriptions are processed through Stripe. The payment process is embedded in our website. Stripe processes the information required to complete payments, manage subscriptions, issue invoices and help prevent fraudulent transactions.
We store the customer’s name, email address and the domain associated with the product or license. Stripe processes the payment and billing information required for the transaction and provides the related payment and invoice functions.
We process our data to perform the purchase or subscription contract and to meet legal obligations, including applicable accounting and tax requirements. Stripe may also process data under its own privacy terms and legal responsibilities.
WooCommerce is used only in a separate demo shop to demonstrate functionality. Products in that demo shop cannot be purchased, and the demo shop is not used to collect customer or payment details.
License validation and plugin communications
Our software may communicate with our license server to activate and validate a license and provide related software functions.
Depending on the request, our server processes technical license information, the product, the website domain, the activation status, the WordPress version and the WordPress administrator email address associated with the installation. We do not store IP addresses in the license database. Technical server access logs may still process connection data as described in the hosting section above.
We use this information to provide and administer the software license and related contracted functions. The legal basis is the performance of the contract.
Recipients, international transfers, retention and security
Depending on the purpose, personal data may be processed by Lima-City as our hosting provider, Stripe for payment and subscription processing, and Google for analytics, advertising or the 3D viewer. We provide data to other recipients only where necessary to provide a requested service, comply with a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, international transfers are made only in accordance with the safeguards required by applicable data protection law, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. We delete or restrict data when that purpose ends, unless statutory retention obligations or the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims require us to keep it longer. Business and tax records are retained for the periods required by law.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. This website is delivered over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
Access, correction and complaints
Subject to the requirements of applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, have inaccurate data corrected, request deletion or restriction of processing, receive data you provided in a portable format, and object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
If processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, contact us using the details in our Legal Notice. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live, work or where you believe an infringement took place.
We may update this Privacy Policy if our website, services, technical systems or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this website.
